This advice is given a lot, but whether it applies depends on the
individual. For many contesters, the fun comes from going all out in every
way. To other contesters, this style of operating would be totally abhorrent.
Whenever I hear someone say "relax guys, it's only a contest" or the
equivalent, I know immediately which group he belongs to. :-)
Plenty of room for both.
