Icom has some 5 dB lower RX noise figure then FT-1000MP.
I remember TS-850 with NF = 5 dB which is in VHF range.

These low NF numbers are only useful in quiet remote locations.
Modern RX should receive weak signal near many strong ones.
Oversensitive RX would adversly compromise dynamic range.
But they are popular with hams operating on band openings...
