In recap...

It should not be considered a 1.5 KW amp, yet will
produce 800+ watts with 50-watts or so of drive.

At only 44 lbs, they have been a DXpedition's choice
amp.

When used within their true parameters, they are solid
contest-duty amps.

The 8875 tubes are becoming difficult to find. 
Several suggested that they are now being manufactured
by Svetlana, but found that Svetlana offers info on
modifying it to run on other tubes nstead.  There are
several 3cx800 and 4cx400a conversions available.

Having the ability to generate a significant amount of
RF at 160 meters is a real advantage that many other
amps don't share.
