If you have observed the packet spots while still doing your own s&p, you will
notice that not all
rare or semi-rare multipliers get spotted. <g>

This may have been a valid reason before the greatly expanded cluster
network but now, with world wide availability and connectivity,I too have
wondered why anyone would want to help another competitor. Then it occurred
to me... not everyone is out to win.
