Here's a wild idea...

Assuming for the sake of argument that the current "general contest" rule(s)
regarding the physical station is outdated... that is to say, the "500 foot
circle or within the property limits" (or however it's phrased) rule does
not clearly indicate how to handle a remote station...

How would you update, overhaul, or re-write the rule?

Would you outright ban remote operation? If so, what do you tell those who
have no other choice (due CCR or other restrictions) but to operate a remote
station?

If you favor a reasonable compromise (as I would) to permit those who MUST
operate a remote station the opportunity to do so, while severely
restricting or outright denying that ability to those who DO have other
options... how would you phrase it?

Would you continue the ban on remote receive sites? Or would you open a
loophole for it (I hope you wouldn't)?

Thoughts?
