David Clark headsets are the standard issue for USCG C-130 flight crews.
I used them for 25 years as a USCG Airborne Radio Operator/Navigator.
Unless you are in a noisy environment I would think them to be overkill
for ham radio usage. They are heavier and put more pressure against
your head than Heil headsets. They will also cause perspiration around
your ears. They would not be my first choice for ham radio.
