In the posts I've read (most of them) I haven't seen any "anti-technology"
bias at all Joe.  I certainly agree that "skimmer" is cool technology and
will likely have a positive effect on Amateur Radio in general on
Radiosport particularly.  Haven't seen anyone question that, or suggest
that "skimmer" ought be banned.

The argument isn't anti-skimmer.  It is that "skimmer" is assistance that
places a log into the "assisted" or "unlimited" category.
