(RE-Threaded from: How many more creative subjects using "skimmer" are
there?)

Here's one.

One way to cut to the chase would be an alternative to major sports drug
testing (ya gotta love the 'Trust but Verify' approach to checking for
cheaters).

For USA entrants: http://www.polytest.org/States/States.htm#US

For International: http://www.polytest.org/States/location.asp

Not only would the Polygraph test verify whether or not a Skimmer had been
used, other nifty things like verifying actual output power used, any secret
2nd human op involvement, etc. could be evaluated.

All Single Op claimed entrants would agree to submit to a Polygraph test if
requested by the contest sponsor. Prior to publishing of final results,
especially the ARRL DX & CQ WW sponsors could require that the #1 Top
SOABHP, SOABLP and SOABQRP claimants get tested. The sponsor(s) pay for the
test(s) to insure that no violations of the rules have occurred (certainly
the responsibility of any sporting event sponsor). If they fail, the
sponsor gets reimbursed for the costs.

If you think this is radical, then you might want to Petition the major
athletic sports associations to stop doing drug testing.

FWIW & 73.
