???? one of the group asked about QRO 2500DX
I have that amp and have had very good fortune with it
it does have a very sensitive Grid protection circuit in it
so other than it maybe being too safe for the tube
and switching itself into bypass (fault)
when we are pushing it at 75 mills
it has been very solid
I do use an aux shack fan over the top of it
but no smells of warm varnish or other issues
I have had mine for about 5 years now
and she has been good to me
Customer support at QRO is also very friendly
Hams working with Hams, rae these days !
