ARRL DX has just introduced a M/S low power category.

A number of RTTY contests have had a M/S low power category for some time.

I hope -- and think -- this category will have appeal for groups of ops
taking turns on a single radio at tribander/wires type stations.

Hi,

Just our of curiosity.

Is there any rationale for big contests, where disperse a small participant
base into many categories might not be an issue, not to carry M/* LP or even
M/* QRP?

Why ALL multiop categories are positioned at the same time the higher power
level? Obviously nobody prevent a LP or QRP M/* to happen, but it would be
just way to unfair in competitive terms to be realistic.
