Many recommendations here for dictating machine footswitches. Where do you
get them? Aren't those machines going extinct?
BTW, I have two footswitches that O got (I think) from Radio Shack about
1969, when I did footswitch spotting (zero beating) for the Drake T-4X.
They are mounted on a little piece of thin plywood. -- one switch for PTT,
the other switch for the "Spot" function. Great technology, for its time.
Regarding the suggestions for keeping the switch from sliding around (e.g.,
Velcro to the rug), I actually like being able to move the footswitch
around -- helps relax my legs and foot. Of course, it can be a problem:
