Fritz,

I had two FT1000D's connected to N1MM for many years, using the FIF232C 
interface units. You'll need to buy a USB to serial adapter if your 
computer doesn't have a true serial port. I had two "real" 9 pin serial 
ports on my computer at the time, and all that was needed was a 25 pin 
to 9 pin serial adapter cable to go between the FIF232C's and the 
computer serial connectors.
