I'm pretty sure that nowadays to interface your rig to the computer would be
faster and easier than to write this e-mail.

HI Bart,

I read through the ARRL contest changes and one change related to my normal
contest operation.

*"Logged frequency*: HF contest entries competing for awards as category
leaders *are encouraged to* specify frequency with a 1 kHz resolution. This
is standard practice for other top contests, and assists with log checking."

I operate contests without my old IC-751 being interfaced with my N3FJP logging
program. The software creates a Cabrillo log which includes the band in kc
only... i.e. 3500, 7000, 14000 etc. I just took a quick look at the N3FJP sw
for the ARRL DX contest and I don't see a way for me to manually enter the
exact frequency for each contact.

Does anyone know if I can enter the frequency for each contact manually into
N3FJP sw?

I'm glad that you're not requiring the exact frequency for each contact like
other contests do.
