Hi Jeff,

I have been watching the specs closely as the SS technology has improved. So
far no solid state amp is a clean as the single band 8877 amplifiers at 1500
watts that we use at K3LR (PI-L output).

I am in discussions with RF KIT - and their amplifier at 1500 watts output
is pretty close to being clean enough - but more testing needs to be done.

I will be testing several single band designs in 2018. Stay tuned :-)

Is anyone using solid-state amps at a competitive multi-multi station?

Which? Any problems?
