Some of us need those repeats, especially when the station is weak (think G 
into CA, going over the pole making things worse). JA is a stones throw form 
here, but at times I needed to hear the six letter call a second time to pull 
them out of the noise.

If conditions are great and the station loud (and in the clear), I agree. Not 
all of us are lucky to have a direct clear shot to EU…
