"Golden Horseshoe" is a term used by the provincial government to describe the 
region in for transportation and development planning purposes.

If GH isn't widely recognized in that area, it might be better to pull a trick 
out of the ARRL's book:  Consider NLI, "New York City - Long Island", arguably 
the closest US analogue to GH.   That would suggest an alternative section 
"GTN" (Greater Toronto-Niagara) or perhaps "THN" (Toronto-Hamilton-Niagara).
