I definitely had the same problem with CW stuttering. I did not realize it
until several hours into CW SS. I thought that everyone was getting rusty
receiving CW -- Hi Hi. Once I figured out the problem, I had to disable
radio polling to get the stuttering stopped. Later in the contest, after
the problem was fixed, a half dozen dupe stations called me. It seems they
must have incorrectly copied my call due to the stuttering!!!

I was running 9.37, FT1000D, and Pentium II - 400.

Switched from v9.31 to v9.37 just before SS.

Never seen in previous versions, but 9.37 seemed to sometimes
"stutter" on sent CW characters.....

Not consistently, but often enough to be bothersome, it would mangle
a character by inserting a "mini-pause" between character elements...

...for example the number "0" might sound like "MO" because of a
little glitch between the 2nd and 3rd dash, or "B" might be sent
as "NI". The pause is not enough for a "full" character break, but
definitely confusing. On average, I'd say the "stutter" occured
once every 10-15 QSO's.

I've used v8.xx, 9.20, 9.21, 9.31, and now 9.37. This problem was
NOT in these earlier versions I have used on this same computer
(a venerable Compaq 486-33).
