New country files have been uploaded to www.k1ea.com - the release notes
are attached.

IMPORTANT: If you downloaded the 1003 release from 23 October, and you are
using NA (country.dat) or CT8 (cqww.cty), you MUST download this update and
replace your files! The USA callsigns beginning with K5K did NOT make it
into those files. This release is the correction for that problem.

In addition, there was a missing comma between a couple of the callsigns,
so others are encouraged to replace their old files as well.

Finally, if you followed the "cty.zip" link from CT's Country File web
page, you probably downloaded cty-1002.zip instead, so you may want to get
this file so you don't miss the K5K multiplier.

I apologize for all the mistakes. All because of a non-standard callsign!

        http://www.k1ea.com/cty/ncty1004.zip (NA)
        http://www.k1ea.com/cty/wcty1004.zip (WriteLog)

The old E-mail delivery service has been discontinued - the mailing list
and the web site are NOT on the same computer any more. You can only
download the files from the above links.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
NA Notes:

Don't forget to run NAU after installing the updated COUNTRY.DAT file.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
WriteLog Notes:

You MUST run the "Convert CTY to WriteLog" program from the Writelog
program folder.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The release notes are as follows:

25 October 2000 (CTY-1004)

Fixed problem where K5K-prefixed callsigns for USA did not show up in
CQWW.CTY or
COUNTRY.DAT. Also fixed missing comma between K5KT and K5KV.
