I am having trouble getting CT to communicate with the FT1000D...only part
of the band info seems to make the trip back and forth into the CT
network...

If I tell CT that it is an FT990 that is hooked up it seems to work
fine...but it don't seem to like the FT1000 option...

I am hoping the "telling CT it is an FT990" option will run throughout this
weekend...finally have a fully automated station and am yearning to floor it
and try her out.

73,

Jim, K4OJ

Have you put something back into contesting?

In ARRL Bulletin #7 of 2,002, the summary of the January 2,002 meeting of
the ARRL Board of Directors the following was stated:

The Board said it also wants to evaluate ''variations and
alternatives'' to the proposal.

What proposal? Elimination of printed line scores in contest write-ups in
QST.

Become active in your local contest club and help to come up with
"alternatives"
