Norm,
I guess I should mention the LINK WORKS 100%, no problems with through put
quality, HOWEVER I CAN'T ping the cpe from my home network.

Ah, that problem. Dan, I had a similar situation using the PRISM II 100mW
card in my PtMP slot on the AP using v4.02 about month and a half ago.
(opposite situation). The signal at the CPE was great, but that at the AP
absolutely sucked (huge asymmetry between station signal strengths as you
are seeing), and as a consequence, the whole link would go down. After
trying the card for awhile, I ended up pulling it, but, since I was up at
our mountaintop WIPOP, I thought I'd plug it into the PtP backhaul slot, to
see if it was an antenna/coax problem. Well, whadda know, it absolutely did
wonders for our backhaul signal strength, pulled it right out of the mud,
and has been working great ever since. No asymmetry between station signal
strengths (at least none that wasn't expected, as one is 100mW and the other
30mW). Why does it work in the PtP slot and not in the one right next to
it on the AP-1000? Don't know. Does the card work? Yes, great. So much
so that I think I'm going to have to get another one and try it again in the
PtMP slot, and if it fails at that, pop it into the backhaul RG down at our
NOC to further firm up the backhaul.
