which is a big problem, b/c now multiple clients on all your towers/POPs are
all sharing the same broadcast domain

on average, you'll double your latency, and 1/2 your throughput for each
additional hop that you bridge

not a problem for that first hop, but when we start talking 4+ hops, things
can get hairy
