Hello guys,

We have the biggest wildfires in our region's history happening a mere 20
miles from our service area, and unfortunately if fire crews can't stop it
in this valley to the west of us (20,000 people are on a 30 minute
evacuation notice in this valley), we're next. I'm getting reports that
emergency personnel cannot get faxes or email out because the phone system
over there is being maxxed out, so I've offered to provide wireless Internet
service to any fire crews that need it, should the fire effort get over in
our area. We have a solar powered WIPOP, and our backhaul is located in a
major city some 20 miles away from area, so I feel that unless the fire
makes it to the mountain POP, we can fulfill our commitments.

However, if I need to start setting up communication points (God forbid the
fire gets so close!), I'm short a couple of items.

I have in stock 3 Orinoco cards and 3 Orinoco pigtails, and I may need more
(I'll pay of course.) The most important thing I need is Karlnet SC-4700
liciences, and I need a vendor that has them in stock and can get them
enabled for me post haste. (Again, of course, I'll pay.) I just need to
have assurances that this vendor has at least 3 of them and can get them to
me in say, an hours time.

Sincerely,

Norm Young
