Hi Caleb

that's good

cool

from www.netgate.com)

that's why you need the new KarlNet board - just released, but built to
withstand the greater power draw of the prism cards

You need the new 2 card slot, 2 port KarlNet board - retails for $185 -
check the archives for more details (or I can post em again if people want
to see em)

problem, AP-1000 will not finish booting)

do you have 2 cards in your AP-1000? if so, which cards?

>Anyone have experience with using Prism 2.5 based cards in 802.11b mode?
According to Karlnet release notes for v4.31
>firmware, Intersil Prism 2.5 based cards are supposed to work in both
TurboCell and 802.11 mode. See:

IMO, it's probably not a firmware issue, rather, if you have 2 cards loaded
in the AP-1000, it's a power draw issue
