I can tell ya... I have called tech support and if you don't talk to Reggy
then your wasting your time. He does an outstanding job.
I have also called with some SEC questions and didn't get to talk to Reggy
and I had more answers to my questions already.

So the bottom line is.. Ask for Reggy..

Nate

Ian,

Who did you contact in Tech Support?

I am suprised that you did not receive a response from them. Please let me
know so I can look into this.

Kevin

Thanks Larry,

That explains my bench test results yesterday.
When bridging the SEC just doesnt pass anything wireless - wired. You can
ping & Manage the SEC from the AP and Ping and manage the SEC from the wired
side of the SEC but nothing in between.

I'll try it to a BG2000 tomorrow with NAT enabled or some routing set.

Karlnet are not exactly bursting with a response so far either so I'll just
have to work it out for myself again.

Regards
Ian Hastie

As far as I am aware, a Karlnet SEC client can connect to any 802.11b
compliant AP when the CPE is placed in routing-mode or when the CPE is
placed in NAT-mode. Bridging mode is different.

A Karlnet SEC CPE will only bridge through a Karlnet SEC AP. I do not know
if Karlnet has a SEC AP firmware that supports WEPPlus. That would be a
question for Karlnet themselves.

Good Luck.
Larry
