I have posted here before we are probably about 8 weeks away from having a
SUB $300 CPE complete with antenna (19dBi flat panel) and PoE!

I am under a lot of competitive pressure with cable modems in my market and
I want to break into the consumer market more. We are running ISP Base
Station on AP1000 and Karlnet on RG1100's now. I love the features of
Karlnet and I'm not really willing to give those up from an infrastructure
standpoint, but our $480 install price is killing non-business sales.
Business sales are going well however.
So, I think this will be the strategy:
Business Class: RG1100 clients (new Karlnet CPE boards when the RG's dry
up) $480 install
Residential Class: NDIS clients w/ Turbocell license $195 install or $20
per month rent
I just wish there was an inexpensive karlnet license for WET11 (or something
similar) so we could compete with cable modem cpe pricing but not have to
run antenna cable into the house.
