I dont know what regulator the RG has on it but I use 15vdc power to them
all the time on long cable runs. And I also run the RGs with batteries as
well and the chargers that I use put out about 14vdc and they have been
running for well over a year now.

Subject: [Karlnet] RG1000 voltage regulator?
Does anyone know if there is a voltage regulator on
the RG-1000/RG-1100? If so, what range of voltages can
it cope with? I know the RG+ board can accept a wide
range of voltages (from 9v - 48v I think) but not sure
about the RG. I want to put some battery backup units
in some places, but the battery charger will mean that
voltages could vary a bit up to about 15v or so.
Cheers.
Paul
