Well, this brings about my next question for the list.  Is there a list of
motherboards people have had good results with and can vouch for
compatibility?

I don't ever see using Flashrom for client sites, but at a tower where I
plan to serve customers and micropops from and want all the performance I
can get, it seems interesting.

I have a source for off-lease systems where I can buy HP Vectra PIII933/128
Ram or Compaq PIII 866/128 Ram  for $250.  Would that seem like a good
platform for FlashRom?
