You leave the default router blank and make sure that somewhere in the
upstream chain the proper default-information originate option is enabled.
RIP will then propagate a default route in the network. Beware of older
versions of the COR/ROR software, though, as they will not pass the default
route properly unless they are the ones with the checkbox to send the
default routes.

Well my problem is this
If you put a default router IP on the karlnet unit, how does a RIP
update replace that? for example, my default router is say 192.168.1.1,
but that link goes down, and now RIP updates are coming on 192.168.2.1,
is there anyway for karlnet to switch?
