Well,
The AP-1000 will cost more than an RG-1000. More than twice as much,
especially since the AP does not come with radio cards.

Hi Kevin
thanks for taking the time to answer
my point is that, as AP-1000 have two slots, you can make
TWO RORs (one on each slot). US$199/2=US$99.50 per ROR
RG-1000 (and KN100) have one slot/card only, thus US$199
per ROR, TWICE the price of the AP-1000 (KN200) setup!!
if you consider BASE (COR) prices, the result will be the
same. two slots gear will be cheaper because the Karlnet
price tag!!
why would one buy a single slot gear and pay twice than
on a double slot gear?
( sorry for my bad english not being clear enough. I hope
the math above is easily to understood -- fingers crossed ;-) )
the soft is already developed, ppl! it's time to increase
your user base/sales by doing some lowering on prices!!
Cheers
