This makes more sense. We all are looking forward to being able to offer our customers more bandwidth, thus more segment bandwidth, thus a/g systems.

This is NOT True, the KN-50 is not going away... the KN-105 will be
phased eventually when the kn-150 platform is ready, this will provide a
single platform for 802.11a/b/b/g radio's

The sky is not falling YDI/Terrabeam isn't pulling the plug, they are
improving the system and will be offering a better product by having the
kn-150

What are we going to do about TC CPE?

I am told that Karlnet/YDI/Terabeam group is discontinuing the KN-105
and KN-
50 boards? We just invested alot of money into a Turbocell network.

They are changing the hardware platform, and jacking up the price?
Has anyone else heard this?
I am looking now at using the compact flash with different hardware
for a cpe
that will fill up the capacity on our network.

Just wondering what everyone else is going to do for low cost CPE.
I am told that Karlnet want's to compete with Aperto for a business
solution.
That's fine, not that I think it will compare anyway..... but what
about all
of us that use it as a residential product and need a lower cost
solution?

Thanks,

Andy

Subject: [Karlnet] compact flash

Hi guys,

I'm interested in experiences with turbocell using compact flash. Will
it
work with standard PC or only with approved SBC (soekris, wrap, ...)?
Any
downfalls, problems?

thanks,
banda
