I too defeated the qsk on the Orion because folks were butchering my call
during the ten meter contest. Seems folks had a much harder time copying me
than ever before. Set up here is the Orion and a pair of Ten Tec 425's so
qsk should work if it is going to.
Defeating qsk and using semi-break in seems to have solved whatever problem
I might have had. I set qsk delay at 80% and it drops out nicely between
words if I pause just a bit.
The other interesting episode with my Orion, I have to have both qsk amp
loops either on or off for it to work. With one set on and the other off,
the "on" side does not transmit. Have reported it to dits&bits. .73 bob de
