[Orion] Remote keypad/encoder

Hey, fellas,

 

As a relatively new Orion user, about 4 months now and lovin' it, am I
missing something by not having the remote keypad/encoder?  I assume this is
what you have been batting about lately with the XIT/RIT functions.

 

What are the merits of having it connected?  Do you recommend having it?
