if this happens only when you run high power, suspect rf feedback affection the
orion's control logic and circuitry. i have a high rf shack, and as i increase
the output power, usually the led's on the front panel start to randomly
flicker. if i keep pushing the power up, i'll lock up the orion in a state
requiring a power cycle for recovery. how much rf is required varies from band
to band. it doesn't matter which firmware i am running.
