Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Aug 06 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Region 2745 (S05E08) was numbered and quickly decayed to plage. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low on 06-08 Aug.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was reached high levels, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at moderate to high levels on 06-08 Aug, as a result of ongoing CH HSS effects. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected CH HSS influences. Solar wind speeds were between approximately 650-700 km/s. Total field decreased from 10 nT to 5 nT over the period. The Bz component was variable and reached a maximum southward deflection of -8 nT. The phi angle was predominently positive.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to remain enhanced through the forecast period (06-08 Aug) due to CH HSS influences.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field reached G1 (Minor) storm levels early in the summary period due to positive polarity CH HSS effects. Quiet to active levels have been observed since the 18-21 reporting period.

Forecast: G1 (Minor) storm conditions are likely on 06 Aug due to continued influence from the CH HSS. Unsettled to active conditions are expected on 07-08 Aug as CH HSS effects begin to wane.
