Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Jun 02 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2827 (N12W07, Cso/beta) lost many of its trailer spots and was mostly inactive during the period. Newly formed Region 2829 (S18E56, Bxo/beta) was numbered as it rotated onto the east limb and began to develop spots. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available data.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low, with a slight chance for C-class flares, on 02-04 Jun.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate over 02-04 Jun and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of a background solar wind regime. Solar wind continued at sub 300 km/s speeds, total field strength averaged near 2 nT, and Bz varied between +/- 2 nT. The phi angle was mostly negative for the majority of the period. Density did show a slight increase from near 6 ppcm3 to just over 12 ppcm3.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are likely to become enhanced late on 02 Jun due to the influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Levels are likely to remain elevated on 03-04 Jun as CH HSS effects continue.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to undergo weak enhancements, with unsettled to active conditions likely late on 02 Jun, due to the influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Levels should remain elevated on 03-04 Jun as CH influences persist.
