Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2022 Aug 07 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 3075 (N21E62, Bxo/beta) was numbered this period, but was otherwise unremarkable. The remaining active regions were stable and quiet. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low with a chance for C-class flares on 07-09 Aug.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux maintained background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 07-09 Aug. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected positive polarity CH HSS influence. Total field gradually increased over the period from 5 nT to a peak of 14 nT. At approximately 07/0323 UTC Bz underwent a sustained, southward deflection up to -10 nT. During this time solar wind speeds began to increase from ambient-like levels to ~450 km/s. Phi became positive around 06/2237 UTC.
Forecast: Enhanced solar wind parameters are expected to continue through 09 Aug due to positive polarity CH HSS influence.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet with a late, isolated active period.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to active levels through 09 Aug due to HSS activity.
