What sort of noise?  There are many types, many sources,
many sounds.  If it is power line noise, you might be interested
in  www.powerlinenoise.com  (my site).  If unsure of what
type of noise, look at my Links page and find the VE3HLS
pages that have recordings and comments on many different
types of noises.
