I use the VX3-R with AM through 903. Not sure I've ever heard any signals on
903, but it works well on 2m and 432, with AM. I suspect the specs listed here
are only for modes normally used for communications at those frequencies.
As I said before, with the rubber duck it is pretty deaf on HF, but if you're
standing under a bad pole, it does serve as a sanity check to show that there
is indeed HF noise.
