Reading this thread late:

I run an 80-6 meter home-made OCF dipole (coax fed Windom, actually) and
have talked all over the world. Only drawback: Not a cloud burner! Need
the inverted V to talk over the 'hill' into California on 75 and 40.

Interestingly enough, the OCF generates much less RFI when the power is
turned up, (California kilowatt!) than the Inverted V does. But, on the
same token, much less power is needed, generally, for this continent or DX
conversations, when using the OCF.

I am aware of my options for antennas - fan dipoles, slopers, G5RV, EFHW
antennas, etc. - some with less RFI, but I choose OCF dipoles for their
performance.
