That is a far better approach than threatening a lawsuit...
The danger of legal action is that it might stop the involved company
from working on ANY problem with ANY Amateur Operator...
That is of course not the only outcome possible, but I suspect things
like this offer would be off the table if the company is involved in a
lawsuit dealing with RFI.
