First off, great info from Jon! Jon's the one that got me going with
the transmit from either RTTYrite Window in WriteLog. One thing he
forgot to mention (and so did I in my earlier post) is that if you run
WriteLog you do not need a PTT line coming from a COM port when
running FSK and a sound card. If you run computer control of your
radio within WriteLog (most do), you can enable PTT by computer
control. This allows you not to have to break out PTT from the COM port.
It also works when you are using a sound card and AFSK. No need to
build a PTT circuit - just do it with the software though computer control
of your radio.
