Thanks to all who replied, I got many useful insights. Many proposed to go for the Icom PW-1, as I have an IC-756Pro as driver. This is a good argument as long as I use Icom equipment... and I guess I will do so for a long time. Acom and Ameritron got some favorable mentions, as did some other manufactuers.
