Eke
I frequently experience a problem with MMTTY in that after a series of cq's,
I will hit the transmit button and a continuous tone will come out.
After a few moments, the diddle will return and it will send the buffer
normally.
Subsequent cq's will be normal until again it will return.

I can MAKE it do it in MMTTY standalone.
Send cqs, repeatedly with just short listening periods in between.
After 10 to 20 transmissions, I will experience a non start, just a
continuous tone and then a resumption of the cqing.

Others have experienced it. We haven't been able to cure it. Not everyone
suffers from it.

I'm betting that your transmit tail is another variant of the problem.
