GPF it is but I still cannot clear it. Even removing and reinstalling =
com ports.  I am using standard com 1 and 2 and have disabled all other =
com ports until I sort it out.
Thanks for the info on the turbo pascal handbook Jay, unfortunatly not =
something I have in the house. Most programs have a list of common =
errors and their solutions, that is what I was looking for.

  I used to get that error code when using WF1B. My system is Win 98, =
using serial port 1, PK232 tnc and Pen 2 300 hz computer.=20
  Before opening the program, go into the control panel and disable the =
comport that you are using. Then after it is finished go back and enable =
the comport, and make sure the box is checked exists in all hardware =
profiles. Then start the WF1B program and it should work. I was also =
running the program in windows.=20
