What is an NAQP RTTY team and how does it differ from me just operating
the contest and not being on a team? A team is simply five people who
all include the same team name when the submit their individual entries
to NCJ. When you play on a team your individual score still counts, is
published in the single operator listings, might earn you a certificate
for top score in your state, and also it counts towards the published
team score. With a little luck you could be first place in your
state/province and also on the first place team but if that is what you
are looking for you better play on the same team as AA5AU. Having a top
scoring team would be nice, but seeing that anyone who wants to plays on
a team is on a team is important to me! For the official word from NCJ
