The best is RITTY by K6STI (note the extra "I") but I do not recommend it 
for casual users. It has some strict requirements as to hardware and it is 
expensive, if you can even convince Brian to sell you a copy. The last I 
heard it was $100. USD. When I bought it about ten years ago it was $150 
and I've never regretted it.

But it does beat all other programs in decoding weak, noisy signals. On my 
main computer I run MMTTY for contesting and DXing, with RITTY running on a 
second computer with the same audio feed. I have compared RITTY against 
other software RTTY programs as well as several hardware TNCs and RITTY 
always wins. Others have reported the same results.
