This has come up before a few years ago on this very reflector.

Among the state and province abbreviations that have other meanings are

Names and pronouns: AL MO MA PA ME
Common words: IN OR OK ON OH HI
Ham short forms and prosigns: GA DE AR SK, also HI

For example, "OH, HI AL, GA! 599 MO IN OR, OK? DE W7AY AR SK"

73
Chen, W7AY
