Go to www.rttycontesting.com  and check out the suggestions of Don AA5AU 
for macros.  Directed at WriteLog, but works great with any contest program.

Note particularly the use of a space before the %E ...... this makes sure 
you do not lose the end of your macro in the noise.

Good stuff by one of the best RTTY contesters ever.
