Nope, won't work.  As with paddling in the set up parameters, the K3  
takes information from the paddle positions rather than decode the  
actual Morse sequence.  It is much easier to determine dit-dah timing  
from a paddle/keyer than to figure out inter-element Morse spacings  
on the fly.
