The IC-756Pro3 has a dedicated RTTY RX mode which has an optimized
bandwidth for RTTY (350 Hz with very sharp skirts) and an FM-type
limiter. This dedicated mode can be switched on or off as desired. In
heavy QRM conditions it greatly improves reception when there are
strong adjacent-channel or co-channel signals.

Using this mode does have one drawback in that the background white
noise level rises due to the limiter action and it can be tiring to
listen to over a long period of time. I usually leave the RTTY mode
off and switch it on only when needed, mostly during contests.
